Encinitas – Classes begin Nov. 21 at 1:30 pm at the Community Center, 1140 Oakcrest Park Drive. Five week series on Back and Hip Comfort; $75 for the series, plus City administrative fees. Sign up at the Community Center or online. Mats are provided. If you need assistance getting to the floor and back up, please call 858-442-4809 in advance so that accommodations may be made to keep you comfortable. These lessons are suitable for everyone. The next series at the Encinitas Community Center starts Jan. 2 – save the date!

Rancho Santa Fe – Three-class Saturday morning series begins December 29. Classes will be held on December 29 and January 5 and 12. $50 for the series, $20 to drop in. Classes are held at a private residence on La Noria, on the north side of old Rancho Santa Fe. Call 858-442-4809 for details. We meet at 9 am and the lessons last 50 – 60 minutes. Bring a mat or blanket to lie on and a small towel or firm head prop. Escondido –  These lessons are suitable for everyone and it’s not necessary to be present for all of them. A new series will begin Dec. 4 at 10 am, and continue for three weeks (12/4, 11, and 18); $40 for the series. After a break for the holidays, another three week series begins on Jan. 8 (1/8, 15, and 22) at 10 am. $40 for the series; $15 to drop in. Classes are held at The Tree House, 142B South Grape Street in Escondido, near the old hospital. Plenty of free street parking. Bring a mat or blanket to lie on and a small towel. On Jan. 29 a 5-week series, Easier Walking – the Feldenkrais Way, will begin at 10:30 am at the Mathes Center, next to the Escondido Library. Enter the library parking lot from Third Avenue, between Kalmia and Broadway; the entrance for the Mathes Center fronts the library parking lot. We meet in the dance room; bring a mat and/or blanket and a small towel or firm prop for your head. This series is offered through Park and Rec, so you need to sign up at City Hall or online.
