Who wouldn’t like to have better posture? Nothing makes you look younger or happier. There will be no books on heads or orders to pull your shoulders back at this workshop. Instead, you’ll do gentle movements that will make your standing easier, breathing fuller, and head lighter. Let’s face it, if forcing ourselves into what feel like unnatural positions improved posture, you’d see more good posture. The Feldenkrais Method helps you to learn new habits and patterns that improve your function – without exercise or stretching. This workshop is recommended for those with back or neck pain, as better posture reduces effort in the muscles of the back and neck.
All props and mats are provided, as well as a snack, but feel free to bring your own if you want. If you cannot get to the floor and back up on your own, let me know at least one week in advance and I’ll have a special space for you.
