Differentiations in breathing challenge the patterns of our breath and the movements of our breathing. You can improve the ease and volume of your breath, and find a new organization in your chest and trunk that will improve your posture.
Proceed gently, and be patient with yourself, especially if you have done “breath work” in other modalities. With the Feldenkrais approach, things can be much easier. Remember, if a suggested movement doesn’t seem available, it is far better to imagine it than to strain or become frustrated. Look for the movement that is pleasurable.
Like most of these recordings, this one was done live. A very friendly dog visits the class near the middle of the recording, but it only lasts a moment.
