Exploring Ankle Flexibility

Exploring ankle flexibility might conjure up images of endless ankle circles – that’s what many fitness trainers suggest. But in the Feldenkrais world, we work with the whole person, so improving ankle flexibility involves more than just your ankles.

This guided movement sequence is easy to do and feels good. You’ll be exploring ankle flexibility, but also learning some new things about other areas of more or less flexibility, as well as the connections between your ankles and other parts of you.

As people age, they tend to lose ankle flexibility and that decrease can show up as an aching knee or hip. So take your time and enjoy exploring your ankle flexibility and improving the organization of your legs and hips, as well as your gait.
