Intermediate Twisting

Have you ever been told to “flatten your back”? This was standard fitness-world advice for many years. Of course, there’s no harm in experimenting with all the ways your back can move, if you proceed with awareness. But consciously trying to hold your spine so that you eliminate or fight against a natural curve is unlikely to be productive. This lesson will give you an opportunity to explore the curves of your spine. The movements are novel enough that you are guaranteed to allow your ribs and vertebrae some new movement.
