Your mouth, palate, teeth – areas that are so often used and so seldom attended to, unless there is discomfort. And, as with every part of ourselves, there can be improvement if there is awareness.
This lesson is called “Mouth, Palate, Teeth” because it invites you to spend some time developing awareness of the interior areas of your mouth. There is also an invitation to connect the sensation and function of your mouth to other areas. It’s a fun and subtle exploration, well worth the time. After all, your mouth works for you – articulating, eating, drinking – all day. Taking 50 minutes to learn something new seems time well invested.
Although it’s not on the audio, it’s fun to recite a verse or use your voice some other way both before and after the lesson. You may notice a big difference.
