Rocking the Skeleton, Moderating Muscle Tension

Here is a brilliant example of how the Feldenkrais Method is indirect, but extremely effective. This lesson uses a single, simple movement to evoke a kind of balance and ease that direct methods seldom achieve.  Typically some of our muscles are working overtime, while others work less than is optimal. Finding an organization that automatically introduces the right amount of tension in the muscles has many benefits. Try this lesson and see what benefits you notice.

The directions in this lesson may seem odd, but try to follow them exactly and be open using yourself in a new way. Take your time and do less than you can.

The lesson lasts about 45 minutes and was recorded during a class, so there is some background noise.
