Rolling the Fists

How is your hand connected the rest of you? This lesson explores that question, among others.

Take your time and rest whenever you feel like it during this lesson. For some people, the opening movements are so interesting, and so seldom attended to, that those are the only movements they want to do. If you find yourself feeling that you need more time to experiment and observe, turn off the audio, rest, and then go back to the same movements. It can be a good thing to break a lesson down into smaller bites.

This can be a great lesson for those who have upper back or shoulder discomfort. Do less than you can and imagine any parts that feel too challenging. A good strategy can be to do the movement many times in your imagination, punctuated by one or two actual movements.
